Referrals are money in the bank
By now you've probably been clicking away earning some extra coins and are wondering how to get more money, so I'll attempt to outline some ways you can get Referrals, this is also known as a Downline. Heres an example of what you could earn with a good number of Active Referrals.
Example of what Referrals can earn for you
Viewing a 30 second $0.01c Advertisement, it would take under 6 minutes a day to click 10 Ads

So if you clicked 1 Ad and had 10 of your Downline were clicking a single ad, you will make $0.11 cents for a little over 30 seconds viewing. I'm not going to lie to you, I don't have 100 Referrals at any of my sites, but I can just imagine if I did, just how much money I would make... ** Drools ** $20.20 in under 12 minutes sounds really good to me :)
On every Paid to Click Site they will have your Referral link, this is the link you will want to use for people to sign-up with. Just some advice, make sure you test the links by going to the Registration Page and checking if your name is in the Referrer box.

Some PTC Sites have poor scripts so the Referrer Name is lost when someone clicks on another link, this is not only irritating but it will lose you your Referral.
Lets' look at an Example
You're signed up to NotaRealPtc.com and you're given this link for Referrals
http://www.notarealptc.com/?r=jimeous
But once you click on the Registration page, your name is missing from the Referrer Box. GRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!
1. Copy the URL for the Registration or Sign-up Link
If the URL is http://www.notarealptc.com/signup.php then that's what you want to copy
2. At the end of that link, put in your Referrer
Look at the original link you were given by your PTC, the Referrer part is all the characters and including the ?
In our example it's ?r=jimeous
3. Now combine the Registration or Sign-Up link with your Referral
http://www.notarealptc.com/signup.php?r=jimeous
Now double check it to see if your name appears in the Referrer Box.

Let's move ahead to some ways of getting Referrers, or a downline
No Cost or Low Cost Referrals
These type of Referrals will cost you nothing because the methods used are at your disposal right now.
Friends and Family
I'm sure you know someone whom is online that can spare under 6 minutes a day to help you earn some extra cash by clicking 10 Ads. All you need is to ask them :) Just keep in mind that it's probably best to only have 1 account per household, this is to avoid any mishaps that a Get Paid to Click Advertisements Site (or PTC) may throw at you.
Charities, Clubs and other similar Organisations
If you've decided to fundraise for a Group you belong to, then you could ask members of the group to help raise some funds by clicking on Ads, even if you're not fundraising, it doesn't hurt to ask people in the groups you belong to to help you earn some extra cash.
Online Forums
If you're a member of a Forum, why not add a site to your Forum Signature? Or better still why not ask friends in your group to help you earn some extra cash. Just remember not to SPAM, this puts more people off and you'll end up ruining any reputation you had at the Forum.
Blogs and other Free Websites
If you're reading this then you should be considering making your own Blog, it will be better to have it in your Forum Signature, than too many links which aren't encouraged on most Forums. Free Websites are another way you can go, just make a page outlining your PTC Sites and your experiences. You can also advertise your Website or Blog at Free Traffic Exchanges.
Free Traffic Exchanges
Free Traffic Exchange programs where you "surf" to earn credits so you can "advertise" your links, any type of online exposure you can get is worth your efforts.
Free Downline Builder Sites
Downline Builder Sites specialise in Referral Traffic, generally you have to sign up to sites, then get the chance to post your own links. Each site differs on what they require their members to do. Look for Downline Builder Sites that allow you to E-mail your Downline because this will give you a head start when New Paid to Click Sites appear.

Paying for Referrals
A rule of thumb when you're paying for Referrals is that, you should avoid using your own money, rather try to re-invest money you've earnt from other Paid To Click Sites.
Sign-Up Ads
This is the first thing you should consider doing, it's low cost and you can get some good referrals for a cent, it just depends on the popularity of the site and whether you've got in fast enough. I've covered this Referrals - Buying Sign-Up Ads, a good place to start if you are willing to pay for them.
Referral Packs
This option is more expensive, expect to pay $1 per Referral if you are going to buy this from a Paid to Click Site. This is another area I've covered in Referrals - Buying Referral Packs, some people like this option because you'll get you Referrals over a short amount of time.
Advertising on Paid To Click Sites
This is an expensive way to try to get Referrals and I can't recommend it to everyone, it's probably better to buy any Referral Packs than go down this method. Nevertheless, many people have taken the risk and gotten thier Referrals this way.
In Conclusion
I've only barely scratched the surface of getting Referrals, there are other ways you can get them, I just wanted to outline some of the common places. Just keep in mind to try to take any opportunity to have a link to your Signature. If you do have a blog or website, maybe you can add it to your E-mail. You never really know until you try :)
